A leading food & drink wholesaler seeks a Warehouse Team Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure efficiency in their London site. You'll lead a team, manage the logistics of goods, and engage in the continuous development of your staff within a diverse and inclusive environment.
The Warehouse Team Manager will support the site management team in the efficient and cost-effective management of warehouse operations. It will be your responsibility to ensure the smooth running of daily warehouse activities and to provide the required level of service to customers at all times.

AM: 06:00 - 14:00
PM: 14:00 - 22:00
You will ensure that the receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching of goods are carried out correctly, meeting productivity levels and budget constraints, while maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.
To be successful in this role, you need working knowledge of warehouse functions within the FMCG distribution industry, as well as an understanding of the business and operational aspects of supervising a DC warehouse operation. Knowledge of the transport function would be advantageous.
As the team leader, you'll have excellent motivational and communication skills, with the ability to manage, train, coach, and develop colleagues. Proficiency in MS Office is essential for reporting and managing people processes.
