Warehouse Team Manager - Speke, Liverpool

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Manager to join the DC team in Speke, Liverpool. This role involves working Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm on a rotational basis. As a Warehouse Team Manager, you will lead, manage, and control your area of responsibility in line with KPI targets and time constraints. You will drive, develop, and lead a successful team of admin and warehouse colleagues through positive behavior, attitude, conduct, and communication. Your responsibilities include providing effective leadership, motivation, training, and development, reporting to the Warehouse Shift Manager.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivating leader. In addition to relevant experience, you must demonstrate:

  • Good DC practice knowledge
  • The ability to develop and maintain good relationships at all levels
  • A drive to deliver performance and results
  • People-focused approach, able to lead and motivate others
  • An open mind to embrace and influence change
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Planning and organizing skills

The key accountabilities include:

  • Leading, motivating, and challenging your team to deliver high results and maximize productivity and service to stores
  • Planning staff training and monitoring performance and progress
  • Ensuring all KPI targets are achieved and managing productivity within your area
  • Maintaining pick accuracy levels
  • Using space and MHE efficiently while meeting health and safety requirements
  • Conducting relevant audits and workplace inspections
  • Collaborating with peers and superiors to maximize efficiencies and implement best practices
