A leading wholesale company is seeking a Warehouse Team Manager to efficiently manage operations, oversee daily activities, and ensure high service quality. The role demands strong leadership, communication skills, and a solid understanding of FMCG distribution, within a team-centric environment. Successful candidates will oversee warehouse functions while adhering to safety and service standards.
The Warehouse Team Manager will support the site management team in the efficient and cost-effective management of warehouse operations. It will be your responsibility to ensure the smooth running of daily warehouse activities and to provide the required level of service to customers at all times.
You will oversee receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods correctly to meet productivity levels and budget constraints, while maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.
To succeed in this role, you should have working knowledge of warehouse functions within the FMCG distribution industry, as well as an understanding of the operational aspects of supervising a depot warehouse. Knowledge of the transport function would be advantageous.
As a team leader of warehouse operatives, you should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and train colleagues. Proficiency in MS Office is important for reporting and disciplinary processes.
