About the role

The Warehouse Team Manager will support the site management team in the efficient and cost-effective management of warehouse operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of daily warehouse activities and maintaining a high level of service to customers at all times.

You will be responsible for

Ensuring the receiving, storing, picking, and dispatch of goods are performed correctly to meet productivity targets and within budget, while maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.

You will need

Successful candidates will have working knowledge of warehouse functions within the FMCG distribution industry, as well as understanding of the business and operational aspects of supervising a depot warehouse. Knowledge of the transport function is an advantage.

As a team leader, you should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and train colleagues. Computer literacy, especially with MS Office for reporting and disciplinary processes, is essential.
