Warehouse Team Leader - Southampton - £25,701

The Position

• This is a full-time permanent position based at our customer's distribution centre in Southampton.
• Rate of pay: £25,701 per annum.
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus a daily 30-minute unpaid break.
• Shift patterns: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts between 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm.
• Working Environment: Chilled.
• Own transport required

Responsibilities

• Manage stock accuracy levels within the depot and stock loaded into trailers against drivers' paperwork, and check the accuracy of incoming deliveries.
• Ensure accuracy in delivery checks, confidently adding and subtracting without a calculator.
• Respond actively to verbal instructions and audible warning devices.
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
• Ensure team and individual KPI targets are met.
• Perform and document weekly supervision sessions with each team member.
• Monitor audit data to provide performance feedback regarding output and error rates.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must be aged 18 years or over.

The role involves achieving daily auditing targets by checking the accuracy of pallets and cages of stock before dispatch, ensuring they meet delivery requests and are error-free.
