Ready for a change? Looking for a role that you can develop into? Ready to join a site as it's growing? We are looking for someone like you. We’re currently recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Team Leader to be based at our site in Sherburn In Elmet.

The working hours are Shifts, on a rotational basis:

Monday to Friday

04:45 to 13:15

13:45 to 21:15

20:45 to 05:15

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £13.60 per hr, in addition to an extra £2.73 ph when working between 1800-0600. We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Lead a team of warehouse operatives safely, efficiently, and fully compliant with site policies and procedures.
• Supervise the operation, motivate, and encourage the team to perform to the best of their ability.
• Understand the customer’s requirements, update on customer orders, and provide general customer feedback as required.
• Maintain reports on productivity, including mitigation and opportunities to improve.
• Make contractor calls as required.
• Support the investigation of incidents as required.
• Ensure all processes and procedures are followed and that we operate a safe and efficient environment.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Essential: Previous knowledge of working within a warehouse environment
• Essential: It’s essential you have exposure to working in a fast-paced environment – no two days will be the same and we need you to think on your feet.
• Essential: Good knowledge of warehouse management systems & Microsoft packages.
• Essential: Supervisory experience or demonstrable experience of stepping up to cover a Supervisory role
• Essential: Demonstrable experience of meeting customer requirements and meeting objectives/KPI’s that are set.
