Job description

We're looking for a Team Leader to join our Logistics team!

As a Team Leader for N Brown, you'll manage operational processes, resources, and colleagues within our Logistics operation. You'll ensure an excellent customer experience for all internal and external customers, meeting objectives and SLAs, and you'll promote a culture of continuous improvement. We're seeking passionate leaders who serve as role models for our core behaviors and advocate our company culture.

Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off. Working hours: 2pm to 1:30am.

Location: Our Logistics hub is in Shaw, Oldham, accessible via Tram (a few minutes walk) or by car (free parking available).

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, support, motivate, train, and develop Logistics colleagues to meet operational objectives.
  • Accurately log colleague time and attendance; manage absences per company policy.
  • Maintain health & safety standards, including COVID measures, ensuring a safe, clean environment.
  • Achieve production and compliance targets and SLAs, optimizing resource use and responding to plan adjustments.
  • Manage departmental budgets through effective planning and performance management.
  • Review performance and quality, provide weekly cost analysis, and investigate MI trends.
  • Be flexible with shift start/finish times to support operational needs, including overtime.
  • Manage multiple departments beyond your main area, supporting process improvements using lean six sigma methodologies.
