Job description

We are currently searching for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at our site in Northfleet. You will manage the daily operation ensuring that safety is the top priority whilst delivering the customer requirements in both inbound and outbound operations.

This is a full-time, permanent position you’ll be working Sunday to Thursday, covering the hours of 22:00 till 06:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £36,000 per annum, and 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Carry out safety and quality observations and actions resulting from non-conformances using systems and tools provided
• Attend the daily KC operations calls when required
• Release orders and allocate trailers/lanes for loading using the SAP/RF yard app
• Manage attendance and absence in line with the company guidelines

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Knowledge of the end-to-end warehouse processes and health and safety
• Experience working in a complex, fast-moving logistics/warehouse environment
• MHE licence Reach truck or Counterbalance is essential
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
