Job Description:

Shift: Nights, 6pm-6am, 4 on 4 off. Due to shift rotation, you need to be available to work across every day of the week if relevant.

Salary: £17.28 per hour

Team and Role Overview

Oversee inbound and outbound operations, ensure procedures are followed, and model Gousto Ownership Principles. Support delivery of KPIs like OTIF, GMP, and quality standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Ensure MHE training compliance and conduct audits
• Prioritize health and safety in all activities
• Build, train, and develop high-performing teams with clear career paths
• Handle employee relations, return-to-work, and absence reviews
• Coordinate with planning, supply chain, and logistics teams
• Drive operational KPIs, including OTIF
• Manage vehicle unloading times
• Communicate shift targets in meetings and daily huddles

Who You Are

• Experience leading a team in a similar role
• Excellent organizational skills
• Confident, forward-thinking team player
• Knowledge of warehouse fulfillment and targets
• Team-oriented with attention to detail, flexibility, problem-solving skills
• High computer literacy, especially Google Sheets
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with employee relations and absence management

Qualifications

• Food Safety Level 2
• Mechanical Handling Equipment competence
• Warehouse Management Systems (preferably JDA)
• Experience with Radio Data Terminals
• Experience in automated fulfillment
• HACCP (advantageous but not essential)
