Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for our City Plumbing Supplies contract at the Warrington site. You will motivate the team, drive performance, and act as first point of contact for daily support and problem solving.

This full-time, permanent role operates on an any 5 from 7 pattern (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00). The salary goes up to £28,500 per annum, plus 22 days leave, pension, private medical and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an operational team in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Excellent communication and on-site engagement skills.
• Strong data analytics ability with spreadsheet visuals.
• Proactive problem solver with SOP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support the FLM in leading and motivating the team to achieve productivity, quality, and service targets across the multi-channel operation.
• Promote a strong Health & Safety culture by ensuring safe working practices and prompt hazard reporting.
• Train, coach, and develop colleagues in SOPs and best practices.
• Monitor day-to-day operations, resolve issues quickly, support picking and packing activities, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Step up to lead the operation in the absence of the FLM or Shift Manager, ensuring smooth communication and delivery of customer expectations.
