Job summary

Deichmann UK is seeking an experienced Team Leader to supervise and coordinate daily activity at the Corby Distribution Centre. You will lead Warehouse Operatives, allocate workload, monitor KPI performance and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.

The role requires confident leadership in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on productivity, accuracy and service. Prior experience in retail or eCommerce distribution is highly valued; eligible applicants should be ready to drive

Qualifications

Experience leading a warehouse team or shift
Proven ability to organise workload and resources
Strong communication and people-management skills
Good numerical and analytical skills
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
Experience with stock control and cycle counts

Responsibilities

Coordinate and prioritise daily warehouse activity within the assigned operational area.
Allocate work and resources to meet daily operational requirements and targets.
Monitor productivity, accuracy, quality and service throughout the shift.
Identify and resolve day-to-day operational issues and escalate when required.
Lead, motivate and support Warehouse Operatives within the area.
Train, coach and support new and existing employees.
Ensure warehouse procedures and WMS processes are followed correctly.
Maintain high standards of stock handling, inventory accuracy and housekeeping.
Promote a strong Health & Safety culture and safe systems of work.
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, safety and ways of working.
