Role Overview

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader (late shift) to work at our Wolverton site (MK12 5PT). The role offers a salary of £36,053.05 per annum plus £832 shift allowance per annum, with a Monday to Friday shift pattern 1400 - 2200.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of their shift, leading a team of colleagues, ensuring staff are briefed and managed in accordance with Yusen Procedures within a busy warehouse environment.

Key Tasks

• Manage the shift operations, ensuring staff follow SSoWs and SWIs
• Handle products safely through inbound and outbound processes, adhering to procedures
• Minimize damage and follow manual handling techniques to prevent injuries
• Support warehouse operations and team tasks as required
• Enforce health and safety procedures, including PPE and equipment checks
• Ensure proper use and training for MHE equipment
• Manage HR processes like absence, performance, disciplinary, and grievances
• Review training and development needs of employees
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge of Kaizen and 5S advantageous

Minimum Requirements

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment
• Warehouse management experience in a frontline role
• Knowledge of HR processes such as return to work, disciplinary, grievance
• Understanding of manual handling techniques
• Ability to lift weights up to 25kg
• Proficiency in MS Excel and operational knowledge of WMS SCALE
• Experience using RF scanners
• Counterbalance, Reach, or T2 forklift license (advantageous)
• Flexible, proactive, team-oriented attitude
• First aider and fire marshal training (desirable)
