Job summary

GXO Logistics Ltd in Willand is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to supervise a small team on shift, ensuring tasks are completed safely and on time in a food distribution environment.

You will use WMS to support stock movements, follow HACCP/BRC guidelines, and lead continuous improvement through KPI reviews. The role is full-time, 4 from 8 days, 06:00–18:00, with salary up to £31,865.73 and a benefits package including pension, dental, life cover and more.

Do you have experience supervising a small warehouse team to ensure daily tasks are completed safely and on time? Do you have experience working within a food distribution environment and following HACCP or food safety procedures? Are you IT literate and experienced using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to support warehouse activities and stock movements?

This is a full time, permanent position, working any 4 from 8 days, 06:00 to 18:00, for our Costa site based in Willand.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Daily management of a team of Warehouse operatives and agency staff on shift
• Flexing resources and activity based upon analysis of real time information to ensure that the shift completes tasks on time and in excess of minimum key performance indicators and quality standards
• Ensure full compliance in accordance with food handling procedures (HACCP) and BRC guidelines
• Measure and review shift warehouse performance KPI’s, service targets and implement appropriate actions to seek continuous improvement
