Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a part-time warehouse operative to work inside a prison at HMP Parkhurst Isle of Wight. The role involves picking, packing and manual handling within a secure environment, with emphasis on accuracy and pace in daily tasks.

Shift patterns: Monday 9am - 4pm Tuesday 10am - 4pm Wednesday 10am - 4.30pm Thursday 10am - 4.30pm

Location: HMP Parkhurst Isle of Wight

PLEASE NOTE: This role is based inside a prison and involves working alongside serving offenders. You will be required to pass enhanced security vetting as part of the recruitment process. This isn't a standard warehouse role. At DHL Supply Chain, we run warehouse operations inside prisons supporting the HMPPS Canteen Service. This service allows offenders to use their own money to buy approved items such as food, toiletries and everyday essentials — with our teams responsible for picking, packing and distributing these orders within the prison.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Work inside a prison, leading and working alongside offenders in a warehouse
• Hands on role - picking, packing and manual handling (up to 20kg)
