What does the role involve?

  • Lead your shift with confidence—optimising productivity, controlling costs, and steering the effective use of temporary resources and overtime
  • Champion fairness and consistency, tackling team issues swiftly and professionally while cultivating a strong and engaging performance-driven culture
  • Monitor attendance and timekeeping, conducting return-to-work interviews and counselling to uphold high standards in line with company policy
  • Be a catalyst for continuous improvement by powering LEAN initiatives and standardisation, always keeping the customer experience front and centre
  • Take Health & Safety seriously—protecting both people and property by eliminating risks and ensuring security procedures are watertight
  • Keep losses and damage at bay while proactively preventing complaints and unlocking greater efficiency and potential revenue

What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Proven leadership as a Shift or Team Leader, with a track record of driving results and energising teams
  • Deep roots in warehousing operations, with real-world expertise in managing fast-paced logistics environments
  • LEAN champion—high-level knowledge and execution to streamline, optimise, and lead continuous improvement
  • Skilled trainer and executor of key warehouse processes, ensuring consistency and operational excellence.
  • Technologically fluent—experienced in using Warehouse Management Systems to maximise efficiency and accuracy
  • Customer-focused and care-driven, with a passion for delivering standout service every time
  • Ability to be on-site at ourCarrington Warehouse, 5 days a week, Monday- Friday
