About The Role

Are you ready to lead and inspire a team in a cutting-edge facility that dispatches three hundred pallets and 8,000 parcels daily to 25,000 customers across the UK and Ireland? Arco, the UK's leading integrated health and safety experts, invites you to be a pivotal part of our National Distribution Centre (NDC) team in Hull.

As a Warehouse Team Leader you will manage and lead a team of people to achieve laid down objectives for a specific area(s) of the NDC which leads to overall achievement of the warehouse function and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for the output of a specific team
• Taking responsibility for the quality of the work produced
• All Health & Safety matters in their area of work
• Staff management, performance management / absence management / recruitment / retention / discipline / Team Briefing
• Resource planning and utilisation including budgetary planning and control
• Providing excellent customer service levels (internal / external customers)
• Training and staff development
• Providing cover and cooperation with all other departments / sectors of NDC

• Working knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures
• A proven track record of staff management
• Good written and verbal English skills
• Good numerical skills
• Manual handling experience
• Experience of working to deadlines and a high level of attention to detail
• Basic IT Skills
• An understanding of Health & Safety within the warehouse
