Warehouse Team Leader

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £25,701 per annum

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid break daily

Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts between 00:00-00:00

Environment: Chilled

Requirements: Previous supervisor/manager experience is ESSENTIAL.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage stock accuracy levels within the depot and ensure loaded trailers match drivers' paperwork and incoming deliveries.
2. Verify delivery accuracy and perform weekly supervision with team members.
3. Monitor audit data and provide performance feedback regarding output and error rates.
4. Ensure team meets KPIs.
5. Perform basic tasks involving Microsoft Excel and Word.
6. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
7. Respond actively to verbal instructions and audible warning devices.

Note: Delivery Checkers should be confident in basic arithmetic without a calculator and must be aged 18 or over.

We are seeking a warehouse team captain to join our supply chain team on a full-time permanent basis. The role involves achieving daily auditing targets by checking the accuracy of pallets and cages of stock before shipment to ensure they meet delivery requests and are error-free.
