A leading door manufacturing company near Doncaster is seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring product quality and delivery meet expectations. DoorCo is growing and our expansion strategy includes the opening of our first Yorkshire site based close to Doncaster. We are now recruiting the role of Manufacturing Team Leader Doncaster. The successful candidate will bring dedication and expertise to our operation.

The Team Leader is responsible for the day to day supervision of manufacturing ensuring that all products meet the customers expectations in terms of Quality and Delivery.
Responsibilities include: -
Day to day supervision of the manufacturing team ensuring that products meet the production schedule KPI
Contribute ideas, and encourage others to identify opportunities for further improvements
Ensure all jobs (and paperwork are completed to the required standards and quality control standards are understood and adhered to.
Monitor general housekeeping and health and safety and continuously improve via implementation of 5S workplace organisation.
Run Daily meetings and team briefings
Monitor and deliver compliance to H&S rules
Ensure that the manufacturing team is appropriately resourced to achieve the production schedule.
Share knowledge with other team members, train where required, encourage others by having a constructive and positive attitude in the workplace. Be a role model in demonstrating the expected company working practices and behaviours, monitor others and escalate if they are not living the Values.
Provide on the job training for all staff members and ensure that they are trained to the required standard for the role being undertaken. Ensure cross training is in place to have enough cover for all tasks in the team and improve flexibility. Ensure the Skills & Training Matrix is maintained for the QC team.
