As the Logistic & Warehouse Team Leader, you will be at the forefront of our clients warehouse operations, leading a dynamic team to ensure efficient packing, distribution, stock control and compliance with logistics requirements. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will oversee Warehouse Operators, ensuring all goods move smoothly from production to dispatch.
Warehouse Team LeaderKey Responsibilities
- Hands-on leadership, overseeing warehouse, goods-in, and metal finishing teams.
- Ensuring timely and cost-effective dispatch while maintaining stock accuracy and packaging compliance.
- Managing warehouse consumables, stock control, and customs clearance documentation.
- Supervising sub-contractors, cleaners, and couriers to maintain adherence to 5S standards.
- Supporting health and safety compliance and seeking improvement opportunities.
- Leading training, development, and performance management of your team.
- Handling customer and supplier communications efficiently.
- Managing heat treatment processes and ensuring high-quality output in metal finishing.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven team-leading/supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work independently with a proactive and professional approach.
- Forklift Truck licence and hands-on operational experience.
- Strong numeracy, literacy, and computer skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- A solution-driven mindsetcapable of problem-solving and route cause analysis.
Preferred
- Experience in packing small, delicate parts.
- Full Driving Licence.
