Warehouse Team Leader - Temporary to Permanent

Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 14:15

15.00 - 16.00 per hour

People Solutions have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our well-established client based in Hoyland, Barnsley. This role is a temporary to permanent position.

Day to Day Duties

  • Manage the warehouse goods in team
  • Communicate effectively with the team ensuring targets are met
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure a smooth operation at all times
  • Quality check items
  • Be prepared for heavy lifting
  • Follow strict health and safety guidelines
  • Abide by company rules and regulations
  • General warehouse duties
  • Pick items following a paper pick sheet where required
  • Flexible to pick up overtime
  • Hold daily briefs setting out daily tasks
  • Excellent team player
  • Ability to work from own initiative
  • Experience working as a team leader
  • Knowledge in the warehouse industry
  • Knowledge in the truck and trailer parts industry
  • Up to date on health and safety procedures
  • Must be reasonably physically fit as heavy lifting involved
  • Hold a valid reach or counterbalance FLT licence
  • More than two years of warehouse management experience leading a team of ten or more people
  • Experience within the goods in department

Training

  • Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
