OA are recruiting for a Performance Coach to join our client’s successful and growing team.

This is a full-time permanent role supporting management with the day-to-day operational activities. Driven by a customer-centric mentality to deliver on our clients promise to consumers, the role requires a competent multitasker ensuring quality standards are met at every turn. You are expected to use your initiative to solve problems and overcome day to day challenges by working cohesively with colleagues and being the SME (Subject Matter Expert) on the processes and procedures of warehouse functions.

As a performance coach, you will be open to change, therefore providing training of new processes and supporting new starters. It will involve working with the manager to monitor performance, ensuring the team are motivated to work at their full potential. The ideal candidate will be committed and passionate to assist in the growth of the business, therefore becoming an asset and developing with the company.

Location: Aston Clinton

Hours: Full-time position, Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm

Performance Coach Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency utilising the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
  • With customer satisfaction being the primary goal, assist with training warehouse employees and monitoring the team’s performance.
  • Communicating with the Account Managers and Customers.
  • Assisting the manager with the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short and long-term performance goals.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards/procedures while complying with legal regulations.
  • Communicating with management in relation to problems and suggestions.
  • Using Microsoft applications for admin tasks when necessary.
  • Flexible to operate within multiple departments.
  • Ensuring all Despatch parcels and pallets are prepared ready for collection
  • Safe and timely loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Put away of Inbound and Kitted stock
  • Cycle counts and stock takes
  • Replenishment of stock into Pick Face
  • Consolidation and stock transfers
  • Complete picks for Kitting
  • End of shift handover reporting
  • Closure securing facility
  • MHE checks completed before use of machinery on shift
  • Ensuring MHE is charged accordingly
  • Holiday and absence cover for Team Manager
  • New starter inductions and training

Performance Coach Skills and Experience

  • Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy.
