Job summary

Irlam Associates are recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader for a major third-party logistics provider based in Trafford Park. The role operates a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern from 07:00 to 19:00, leading a four-person team and ensuring safe, accurate and timely operations.

The candidate will oversee workloads, support goods-in, storage, picking and dispatch, and uphold health and safety standards in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader, Supervisor or Lead Hand.
• Experience allocating workloads and supporting a small team.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A hands-on approach and the ability to prioritise in a busy warehouse.
• A good understanding of warehouse processes and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of four warehouse operatives.
• Allocate daily workloads and monitor progress against operational targets.
• Support goods-in, storage, picking and dispatch activities.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, housekeeping and health and safety.
• Help train and develop team members.
• Communicate operational issues and provide clear shift handovers.
