Position Overview

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our customer's distribution centre in Carlisle.

Rate of Pay: £25,389 per annum

Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours plus a daily 30-minute unpaid break

Shift Patterns: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts between 22:00-06:00

Working Environment: Chilled

Responsibilities

• Manage stock accuracy levels within the depot and stock loaded into trailers against drivers' paperwork, checking the accuracy of incoming deliveries.
• Ensure the accuracy of delivery checks, confidently performing addition and subtraction without a calculator.
• Respond actively to verbal instructions and audible warning devices.
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
• Meet personal and team KPI targets.
• Perform and document weekly supervision sessions with each team member.
• Monitor audit data to provide performance feedback regarding output and error rates.
• Maintain basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must be aged 18 years or over.

About the Role

Retail and Asset Solutions are seeking a Warehouse Team Captain to join our supply chain team on a full-time, permanent basis. Your main responsibility will be to achieve daily auditing targets by checking the accuracy of pallets and cages of stock before shipment, ensuring they meet delivery requests and are error-free.
