Job description

Purpose of the role:

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the smooth running of production in Phase 2/3 areas. You will be committed to upholding standards of food safety, legality, quality, and integrity.

Days of work: 5 out of 7 as per rota, including Sunday working.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 14.00-23.00h and Sunday 12.00-21.00h.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Assist the Warehouse Manager in the running of a busy warehouse and dispatch infrastructure.
  2. Ensure effective development of the team structure, ensuring skills and knowledge are up to required standards.
  3. Maintain KPIs to required standards and report on a weekly basis to the Warehouse Manager.
  4. Manage the day-to-day running of GMP, health and safety, and risk assessments.
  5. Create monthly rota for staff members, including manning and staffing levels.
  6. Chair daily team meetings as required.
  7. Create a training matrix and SMART plan for staff members and monitor all training progress.

  2. IT literate (AX, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  3. A flexible approach to both duties and hours of work.
  4. Ability to work well in a team as well as individually.
  5. Demonstrated leadership skills.
  6. Ability to motivate team members and work under pressure.

Specific Requirements:

Overtime is required as and when necessary to meet demands of the business. Peak working times include Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Bank Holidays, and the Christmas/New Year period.
