Warehouse Supervisor - Night Shift

Location: Tamworth

Salary: £31,600 per annum + £4.5k night shift allowance & Benefits

Cast UK is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our client's night shift team and drive operational excellence.

The Role:

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee night shift operations, ensure efficient warehouse processes, and lead a team to meet key performance targets. Your responsibilities include maintaining stock accuracy, upholding health & safety standards, and optimizing workflows for on-time deliveries. The shift pattern is rotating, from 5:30pm to 3:00am and 8:00pm to 5:30am.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and lead the night shift warehouse team, ensuring productivity and compliance with standards.
2. Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, stock control, and order fulfillment.
3. Ensure operations comply with health & safety regulations and company policies.
4. Train, mentor, and motivate warehouse staff to high performance.
5. Conduct inventory checks and manage stock discrepancies.
6. Collaborate with other departments to resolve logistical or operational challenges.
7. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
8. Maintain accurate documentation and reports of warehouse activities.

What We're Looking For:

1. Experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role, preferably in B2B distribution.
2. Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
3. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
4. Knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, and logistics.
5. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and IT proficiency.
6. Proactive, hands-on approach, capable of handling high-pressure situations.
7. Knowledge of health & safety regulations in warehouse settings.
