As a Supervisor, your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and coaching Warehouse Operatives / Trainee Supervisors, including 1:1s to discuss performance, setting SMART goals, and addressing performance issues.
  • Collaborating with the Section Manager to monitor delivery plans and improve key areas during your shift.
  • Driving performance on key metrics to ensure efficient warehouse operations that fulfill customer web and store demand on time and in full.
  • Ensuring high safety standards on-site, working with the Safety team to adhere to safety routines and procedures.
  • Reviewing weekly labor plans, ensuring adequate coverage, and addressing issues proactively.
  • Providing detailed reports when targets are not met and developing plans to bridge gaps.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to support strategic activities and initiatives.
  • Supporting culture change initiatives and reducing staff turnover.
  • Applying experience in Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain management.
  • Exhibiting strong potential in people and change management.
  • Maintaining a customer-focused approach to operations.
  • Being resilient, flexible, approachable, and a problem-solver in a fast-paced environment.
