Are you a skilled and motivated Warehouse Supervisor searching for an exciting new opportunity? Look no further! Our client, a leading logistics organisation, is seeking a passionate individual to join their dynamic team in Spalding.

Job Overview:

As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations in our client's chilled warehouse. Your responsibility will be to lead a diverse team, drive productivity, and ensure adherence to health and safety procedures. With your strong leadership skills and experience in warehouse management, you'll be a key player in maintaining smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage warehouse staff during 12-hour shifts, maintaining operational flow and productivity
Supervise and motivate a cross-generational workforce, fostering effective communication and collaboration
Confidently oversee the use of Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT) in daily warehouse tasks
Ensure accurate and timely stock management, meeting customer delivery expectations
Enforce health and safety regulations, conducting regular checks, and addressing any risks or hazards promptly
Track and report on KPIs to ensure targets are met
Quickly and effectively solve operational issues to minimise disruptions
Provide coaching and training to team members, encouraging a positive work culture
Act as a key point of contact between warehouse operatives and senior management, ensuring clear and consistent communication

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role
Valid PPT Licence and strong experience in operating pallet trucks
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, and health & safety regulations
Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems efficiently
Competency with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous

Working Conditions:

Chilled warehouse environment
12-hour shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off (6am to 6pm)
Physical role requiring manual handling and use of warehouse equipment
