Job description

Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for a static Night Shift.

You will be required to work Monday - Friday nights, with standard hours of 22:30 - 07:00.
Flexibility depending on the needs of the business will be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all night shift operations within the warehouse.
• Manage 4 direct reports and a team of around 15 - 20 operatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage team performance, providing guidance and support to staff.
• Handle absence, performance, standards, and disciplinaries.
• Experience with 5S compliance.
• Oversee materials handling processes, ensuring efficient movement of goods.
• Maintain accurate records using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks as required, promoting a collaborative team environment.
• Address any operational issues promptly to minimise disruptions.

In order to be considered for this role, you must have experience in a supervisory role and demonstrate competency in leading and managing a team.

This is a varied role, so you must have a flexible approach. At times, overtime will be required to ensure the shift is completed and all products have been prepared for deliveries.

An immediate start is available for the successful candidate.

This is a temporary to permanent role.

In return, you can expect to earn £22.00 per hour. Overtime is available and is paid at a premium.

Pay: £22.07 - £44.14 per hour
