Warehouse Supervisor late shift 4pm to Midnight

Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Wakefield WF3 4BY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 16:00 - 00:00, plus 1 in 3 Sundays, 06:00 - 13:30
Salary: £34,161.14 per annum plus shift supplements

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our Wakefield Depot. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and exceeding our customers’ expectations. You will monitor and ensure all operations are carried out with high attention to detail, guaranteeing customer orders are fulfilled safely, securely, and promptly.

Role responsibilities
  1. Drive depot KPIs in quality and productivity while maintaining discipline, cleanliness, and optimal staffing for maximum efficiency.
  2. Oversee accurate order picking, stock rotation (FEFO), and secure handling of products, including credit returns and controlled drugs.
  3. Maintain compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), and the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
  4. Support the induction and ongoing training of warehouse employees, ensuring they are multi-skilled and equipped to meet operational demands.

Physical requirements: Standing and walking for most of the shift, lifting (up to 15kg), bending, twisting, kneeling, and crouching.
