About The Client:

Our client is a leading provider of nationwide two-person and one-person assisted “White Glove” home delivery services in the UK. They are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support the General Manager and oversee operations at one of their key distribution centres.

Job Overview:

This hands-on leadership role involves supporting depot operations to ensure efficiency and outstanding service delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation capable of fulfilling operational and customer demand and meeting set targets.
2. Take delivery of inbound goods, checking for damages or missing items.
3. Store goods appropriately.
4. Sort orders for dispatch around the network.
5. Promote a culture of teamwork.
6. Resolve issues or problems in the warehouse where possible, and escalate to senior management when necessary.
7. Ensure manual handling procedures are followed during lifting and maneuvering of products and materials.
