Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Upton Snodsbury WR7
Salary: £30.150 – £33.250 per year (depending on experience)
Day Shift

Job Purpose We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the safe, secure, and efficient running of our warehouse operations. The role involves managing and motivating a team, ensuring orders and goods-in are processed accurately, maintaining high standards of health & safety, and driving overall efficiency within the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support warehouse staff to achieve daily operational targets.
  • Ensure safe unloading/loading of goods and accurate stock management.
  • Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment (including MHE), reporting defects promptly.
  • Conduct regular audits, checks, and inspections to maintain compliance and safety.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and security across the warehouse.
  • Allocate workload fairly, ensuring high service levels and timely order fulfilment.
  • Liaise with logistics and management to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Provide training, coaching, and development to warehouse operatives.
  • Handle performance management, staff planning, and agency inductions.
  • Investigate discrepancies and report findings to senior management.
Requirements
  • Valid Bendi Forklift Licence (in date) – essential.
  • Counterbalance licence – desirable.
  • Previous experience in warehouse supervision/team leadership.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Confident with stock control systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy team.
  • Must be able to drive (own transport due to location).
