Job description

Our client is currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor based in Sunbury-on-Thames.

Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Salary: GBP28,000 - GBP32,000

Hours: 07:00 - 16:00 ( Mon - Fri)

Location: Sunbury-on-Thames

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations
  • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and damage-free handling
  • Organise and maintain storage of goods in line with handling and preservation standards for fine art, antiques, and designer furniture
  • Oversee loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Co-ordinate closely with operations and packing teams for efficient workflow
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety compliance, and general upkeep
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements, condition checks, and storage locations
  • Support and train junior warehouse staff and temporary crew when required
  • Occasionally assist with local collections and deliveries

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous warehouse/operations experience, ideally in logistics, interior design, or fine art
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management
  • Strong attention to detail and care for high-value items
  • Comfortable using inventory and job tracking software
  • Confident and competent driver with a full UK driving licence
  • Forklift licence - beneficial
