Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: East Dunbartonshire, Scotland

Salary: 32,000 per annum

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing food manufacturing business in East Dunbartonshire. In this key role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant handling, storage, and dispatch of products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to company standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock rotation in line with FIFO principles.
  • Monitor and enforce food safety and hygiene standards (e.g. HACCP, BRC).
  • Oversee goods-in and goods-out processes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Liaise with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and conduct regular risk assessments.
  • Train, coach, and motivate team members to support professional development and high performance.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, identifying areas for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role, ideally within the food manufacturing or FMCG sector.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and warehouse best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach.
  • IT literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or extended hours if required.
