37.5 hours per week, 06:15 - 14:15 (Monday to Friday), 14:00 - 22:30 Monday -Thursday) 14:00 - 20:00 (friday)
Salary:
30,000 per annum
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations on a rotating shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient storage, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and team leadership. The Warehouse Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining productivity, safety and accuracy in warehouse processes while being committed to continuous improvement of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
Ensure timely and accurate receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock counts to minimize discrepancies.
Implement and maintain safety procedures in compliance with company policies.
Optimize warehouse layout and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure all equipment is maintained properly.
Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless operations.
Generate and analyze warehouse reports related to inventory, productivity, and safety.
Address and resolve any issues related to damaged or missing inventory.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
Experience within a supervisory role within warehouse logistics, preferably with previous exposure to inbound and night shift operations.
Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control systems, and logistics software.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft office and Excel.
