Job summary

GXO Logistics in Preston Brook is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor (Nights) to lead the night shift on the B&Q operation. You will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient stock movement while delivering exceptional service for our customer, and you will develop your team to raise site performance.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 20:00 to 06:00, with a 20% night shift premium and a salary up to £34,000 plus benefits including 25 days leave, pension, life assurance, and retail discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising or managing teams within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Counterbalance FLT licence is required.
• Flexible approach to working within a busy operation.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, loading processes, and performance targets.
• Good IT skills including MS Office and warehouse management systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the night shift team to achieve operational, service, and productivity KPIs.
• Ensure stock is handled, loaded, and dispatched safely and accurately.
• Drive a proactive health & safety culture, ensuring compliance with site procedures and legislation.

GXO is currently looking for a Warehouse Supervisor (Nights) to join our B&Q operation in Preston Brook. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the night shift operation, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient movement of stock while delivering exceptional service for our customer. You'll play a key role in developing your team, driving operational performance, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement across the site.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 20:00 to 06:00. Flexibility may be required to support the needs of the operation because, after all, this is logistics!

You'll be paid a salary of up to £34,000 per annum, plus an additional20% night shift premium.
