Overview

Warehouse Supervisor - Hull

Salary: £32,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday (start times between 6:00am-8:00am) + 1 in 3 Saturdays

Contract: Full-time, 42 hours per week

This role will suit someone who enjoys leading by example on the warehouse floor, ensuring goods flow efficiently through the business while maintaining excellent accuracy, safety, and team morale. Work will also be conducted within cold store environment at times. Previous experience at supervisory level is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise all day-to-day warehouse operations, including goods in/out, stock control, and order fulfilment
  • Check inbound deliveries for accuracy and condition, resolving discrepancies promptly
  • Ensure all stock movements are recorded accurately within the ERP system
  • Lead and motivate the warehouse team, ensuring pick accuracy and dispatch standards are maintained
  • Conduct and oversee regular cycle counts and stocktakes, investigating any variances
  • Promote high standards of housekeeping, safety, and operational efficiency through 5S practices
  • Work closely with the fulfilment and admin teams to minimise dispatch delays and improve processes
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in a busy warehouse or distribution environment
  • Strong knowledge of Goods In, Goods Out, and inventory management
  • Confident team leader with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • ERP system experience (ideally MS Dynamics or similar)
  • Flexible, proactive, and capable of working independently
  • Reliable and trustworthy, with a practical, hands-on approach
