Job summary

Rexel UK is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the Leeds Solar Hub, overseeing a small team to meet daily targets and SLA commitments. You will manage workload, ensure accurate picking, and supervise health and safety practices in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You’ll lead a 2–3 person team, apply strong stock knowledge, and coordinate with customer service, transport and branch colleagues to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting a team of operatives to deliver daily KPI’s
• Allocating workload, managing priorities and coordinating cover to meet dispatch deadlines
• Monitoring accuracy and quality, reducing picking errors and ensuring orders are packed correctly
• Coaching team members on processes, safe working and best practice to improve performance
• Ensuring goods are handled, stored and packed to prevent damage and maintain stock integrity
• Maintaining warehouse Health & Safety standards/Requirements & housekeeping
• Supporting stock accuracy through checks, investigations and basic inventory control tasks
• Using warehouse systems/scanners to track work and maintain traceability (where applicable)
• Communicating with internal stakeholders (e.g., customer service/transport/branch teams) to resolve issues quickly
• Communicating with external stakeholders such as Customers, Suppliers and External agency support

Job Description

As a Warehouse Supervisor,You will be supporting the Hub Manager, by taking ownership of the team and productivity within the Solar Hub, ensuring that operational targets and SLA's are met, Site Health & Safety is upheld and any team escalations are dealt with.

You will supervise about 2-3 operatives within the solar operation, so ideally, you will have team lead or supervision experience from a Logistics/Distribution background, Have great stock management knowledge and able to effectively communicate across different stakeholders.
