Job description

Warehouse Supervisor

Working with a busy and rapidly expanding manufacturer of non-ferrous metals, my client is looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor on a full-time permanent basis. The role is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, from 2pm to 11pm.

This is a fast-paced Warehouse position where you will be responsible for organising deliveries, receiving goods in/out of the warehouse, loading and unloading vehicles, as well as managing a small team.

This is a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor role where previous experience in a fast-paced environment is essential.

The company is based on the outskirts of Reading, so own transport is essential.

Salary & Benefits:
  • Up to £35,000 per annum
  • Monday-Friday, 2pm-11pm
  • 20 days holiday + Bank holidays

Duties:
  • Organising deliveries, storage, and despatches of goods in the warehouse
  • Scheduling and overseeing the warehouse team and managing workflow to maximise efficiencies
  • Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries daily, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, and logistics
  • Liaising with Sales and Office departments to ensure targets are achieved daily
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience managing/supervising teams in a logistics or manufacturing environment
  • Experience in stock movement, goods in/out, and warehouse operations
  • General office and administrative skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and liaise with different departments
