Warehouse Supervisor

Location: BR5 3FQ (Orpington, Greater London)

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 per annum



The Role

We're seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations in our fast-paced, multi-client warehouse. You'll bring strong leadership, hands-on operational experience, and a solid understanding of eCommerce fulfilment to ensure accurate and timely dispatch while meeting client-specific requirements.



Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations: goods-in, storage, pick/pack, and outbound shipments.
  • Manage a diverse team, including rota planning, task assignment, and productivity.
  • Coordinate operations across multiple client accounts with unique requirements.
  • Improve pick accuracy, packing standards, and dispatch timelines, especially for eCommerce.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and inventory integrity through cycle counts.
  • Collaborate with customer service, logistics, and account managers for smooth service delivery.
  • Train new staff on processes, systems, and health & safety.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and customer satisfaction.


Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Strong knowledge of eCommerce fulfilment (pick/pack, courier integration, returns).
  • Experience in a multi-client or 3PL environment is highly desirable.
  • Good IT literacy and WMS/order management software experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and adaptability in a dynamic setting.
  • Forklift licence beneficial.
