Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader role ideally within injection moulding or manufacturing.
  • Hands-on ERP/stock management systems experience, Sage preferred.
  • Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Bendi ideal).

About the Company

Our client is a leading manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality and service in technical sectors. As part of their ongoing growth and drive for operational excellence, we are working with them to look for a proactive Warehouse Supervisor to join their team.

About the Role

As our Warehouse Supervisor, you will take the lead in managing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient handling of raw materials, finished goods, and everything in between. Reporting directly to senior management, this is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and develop a small team of 2 stores personnel.
  • Coordinate goods-in, stock issuing, returns, and dispatch activities.
  • Maintain stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and discrepancy investigations.
  • Ensure the safe, organised, and efficient layout of the warehouse.
  • Collaborate with production, planning, and logistics teams to meet deadlines.
  • Operate and maintain stock control systems Sage ERP knowledge is a big plus.
  • Drive process improvements to boost efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and quality procedures.
  • Operate forklift trucks safely (valid forklift licence required).
About You
  • Proven experience in a similar Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader role ideally within injection moulding or manufacturing.
  • Deep understanding of stock control, inventory, and material flow processes.
  • Hands-on ERP/stock management systems experience Sage preferred.
  • Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Bendi ideal).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Highly organised with excellent problem-solving ability.
  • A self-starter who thrives on improving processes and driving change.
