Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Harworth on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 06:00 - 18:00

Salary: £34,753 per annum

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will supervise the warehouse team and support the Shift Managers in meeting safety and operational requirements.

Key Duties of a Warehouse Supervisor:
  • Assist the Shift Manager in delivering warehouse operations and respond to operational issues.
  • Schedule and supervise warehouse staff activities.
  • Ensure timely completion of warehouse activities.
  • Manage disciplinary, grievance, and absence cases within the shift.
  • Support communication briefings to keep colleagues informed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies through safe practices, good housekeeping, and training.
  • Support individuals in meeting performance targets and address underperformance.
  • Maintain records of team and individual performance; advise on operational disruptions.
  • Assist in training and development, including on-the-job coaching.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in warehouse operations, including operating MHE and managing people.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Team player with initiative.
  • Knowledge of warehouse systems and health & safety.
  • Proficient in MS Office at an intermediate level.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Time management and problem-solving skills.
