Job description

Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for leading warehousing processes ensuring the warehouse is working efficiently and smoothly at all times. This position requires the ability to lead the team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all goods are picked and packed and then shipped accurately and on time.

You will have a solid warehouse background and the proven experience of leading a team and setting and maintaining high standards to work as part of the operational leadership team to identify and share ideas, improving operational performance through collaboration.

Responsibilities

• As an inspirational leader you will oversee and manage the production team to ensure due dates are met.
• Oversee quality control to ensure all goods are being made accurately and help investigate non-conformances.
• Ensure orders are produced and dispatched by the set dispatch dates.
• Ensure an accurate stock take is carried out on the last day of every month recording all the stock items.
• Share responsibility for the team including return to work meetings, team morale, taking an active part in reviews and appraisals meetings.
• Promote a culture of safety and ensure that all employees adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
• Ensure that Health and Safety standards and Quality standards are maintained.
• Ability to work independently under the Operations Director and as a key part of the production team.
• Motivate and coach the team to operational success.

Required Experience

• 2-3 years previous experience within warehouse supervisory based work

• Hours 9.00am - 8.00pm
