Job summary

Gi Group UK is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor for our Andover site. You will lead daily warehouse and yard operations, ensuring orders move efficiently, standards remain high, and the team delivers peak performance.

The role requires supervising a team, maintaining stock accuracy, and coordinating with transport to ensure smooth deliveries. A valid FLT licence and strong leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse supervision or team leadership.
• FLT licence valid and current.
• Strong people leadership and performance management.
• Familiar with WMS/IT systems, planning and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day warehouse and yard operations to hit OTIF targets.
• Plan labour/resources and coordinate with Transport for fast turnaround and smooth deliveries.
• Lead, coach and develop the team with briefings, 1:1s, and onboarding.
• Drive stock accuracy, investigations, counts and stocktakes.
• Own Health & Safety on site: inspections, risk assessments, incident follow-up.
• Spot and deliver continuous improvement across space, service and productivity.

Permanent | £33,000-£38,000 DOE | Mon-Fri, 10:00-20:00 | Operations

We're looking for a hands‑on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily activity across our clients warehouse and yard in Andover-keeping orders moving, standards high, and the team performing at their best.

What you'll be doing

• Run day-to-day warehouse + yard operations (pick, load, dispatch) to hit OTIF targets


• Plan labour/resources and coordinate with Transport for fast turnaround and smooth deliveries


• Lead, coach and develop the team (briefings, 1:1s, performance, onboarding)


• Drive stock accuracy, investigations, counts and stocktakes


• Own Health & Safety on site: inspections, risk assessments, incident follow‑up


• Spot and deliver continuous improvement across space, service and productivity

What we need

• Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader experience (or similar)


• Valid FLT licence


• Strong people leadership + performance management


• Confident with WMS/IT systems, planning and problem-solving

Nice to have

• Builders merchant / heavy-side products experience


• IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)


• Yard/loading/transport compliance knowledge
