Job description

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse and Store Operatives for a large prestigious manufacturing / Logistics company based in Tamworth.

This is a permanent role working rotating shifts – Monday to Friday:

  • 06:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • 2:00 pm - 10:15 pm (early finish on Fridays)

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour + Shift Allowance (£14.65 per hour)

Key Responsibilities
  • Picking and packing large and small components and raw materials
  • Using manual pick sheets for order picking or stock movement
  • Weighing and measuring products
  • Booking stock in and organizing Goods Out
  • Printing paperwork and labels
  • Stocking in designated areas
  • Updating information and orders on the in-house system
  • Moving stock using PPT or FLT as required
  • Stock taking for audits
  • Ensuring inventory accuracy at all times
Experience Required
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar environment
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
  • Good attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues
  • Strong communication skills
  • Numerical and methodical approach due to order numbers and specifications
