Job description

CJD Equipment is seeking an experienced Warehouse / Store Person to join our highly motivated Guildford Branch! This is a great opportunity to join a market-leading national business that supports your skill development and career growth in warehousing.

With exposure to brands such as VOLVO Construction Equipment, this role involves all aspects of warehousing, including physical tasks and administrative duties related to receiving, picking, and dispatching items.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Picking and packing customer orders for pickup, delivery, or dispatch
  • Organizing dispatch for local and interstate freight
  • Receiving incoming freight and stock orders, and receipting into the inventory system
  • Storing incoming stock and assigning items to customer orders
  • Liaising with courier companies and meeting pickup deadlines
  • Maintaining a clean and functional warehouse environment
  • Delivering and collecting parts locally when required

Ideal candidate attributes:

  • A safety-conscious attitude with motivation to succeed
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in computer programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • A forklift license (preferred but not essential)
  • Current Driver's License
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and provide a Police Clearance
