Warehouse Stock Assistant

Location: Wakefield

Salary: £25,389 per annum

Transport: Own transport preferred - multiple roles available

The Position

• Full-time permanent role at our client's distribution centre
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours, with a 30-minute unpaid daily break
• Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts between 08:00-17:00
• Working Environment: Ambient

A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Stock Assistant

You will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment to ensure accurate stock movement in and out of the depot. Your activities may include manual handling and working across various workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits, and Load Adherence checks.

Job Responsibilities

• Audit inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries using the GFR program
• Audit picker accuracy for stock destined for stores and investigate errors
• Follow audit and error verification procedures consistently
• Maintain data integrity at all times
• Achieve productivity targets aligned with customer expectations
• Review daily targets and performance metrics
