Warehouse Stock Assistant

Location: Wakefield

Salary: £25,389 per annum

Own transport preferred - multiple roles available

The position

• Full-time permanent role at our customer's distribution centre
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours, including a 30-minute unpaid break
• Shift patterns: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts between 08:00-17:00
• Working environment: Ambient

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Assistant

As a Warehouse Stock Assistant, you will be part of a dynamic team working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment to ensure accurate stock handling during inbound and outbound processes.

Activities may include working across multiple workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits, and Load Adherence checks, many of which involve manual handling.

Job activities

• Audit inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program
• Audit picker accuracy for stock destined for stores and investigate errors
• Follow audit and error verification procedures consistently
• Maintain data integrity at all times
• Achieve productivity levels aligned with customer expectations
• Review daily targets accordingly
