Warehouse Stock Checker - Stafford - £25,486

Own transport preferred

The position
  • This is a full-time, permanent position based at our customer's distribution centre in Stafford.
  • Rate of pay: £25,486 per annum.
  • Weekly hours: 37.5 hours, plus a daily 30-minute unpaid break.
  • Shift patterns: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:00.
  • Working environment: Ambient.
A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Assistant

As a Warehouse Stock Assistant, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment to ensure stock accuracy during entry and exit at the depot.

Activities may include working across multiple workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits, and Load Adherence checks, many of which involve manual handling.

Job activities
  • Audit the inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
  • Audit picker accuracy and investigate errors.
  • Follow audit and error verification procedures consistently.
  • Maintain data integrity at all times.
  • Achieve productivity levels aligned with customer expectations.
  • Review daily targets to meet customer requirements.
