Warehouse Stock Assistant

Location: Stafford

Salary: £25,486

Own transport preferred - multiple roles available!

The Position

• Full-time permanent role based at our client's distribution centre
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours with a 30-minute unpaid break
• Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts between 08:00-17:00
• Working Environment: Ambient

A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Stock Assistant

You will be part of a dynamic, supportive team working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment to ensure accurate stock management during inbound and outbound processes.

Activities may include working across multiple workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits, and Load Adherence checks, often involving manual handling.

Job Responsibilities

• Audit inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program
• Audit picker accuracy for stock destined for stores and investigate errors
• Follow audit and error verification procedures consistently
• Maintain integrity and accuracy at all times
• Achieve productivity levels aligned with customer expectations
• Review daily targets to meet customer standards
