Warehouse Stock Assistant - Stafford - £25,486

The position
  • This is a full-time permanent position based at our customer's distribution centre in Stafford.
  • Rate of pay: £25,486 per annum.
  • Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus a 30-minute unpaid daily break.
  • Shift Patterns: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:00.
  • Working Environment: Ambient.
A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Assistant

As a Warehouse Stock Assistant, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in a fast-paced and target-driven environment to ensure the accuracy of stock entering or leaving the depot. Your activities may include working across multiple workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits, and Load Adherence checks, most of which involve manual handling.

Job activities
  • Audit the inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
  • Audit picker accuracy of stock destined for stores and investigate all errors found.
  • Adhere to audit and error verification procedures at all times.
  • Maintain integrity at all times.
  • Achieve expected productivity levels in line with customer expectations.
  • Review daily targets according to customer expectations.
